This beautiful blue-eyed boy is GOGGINS (named after Walton Goggins, of course) — we saved him from the shelter & he’s now doing great! He was turned into the shelter because he was vomiting - the poor guy was clearly sick so we got him out of there and right to our vet. The good news is that his tests, bloodwork & X-rays all look good. He will make a full recovery and we are happy that he can recover in his loving & cozy foster home. 

Goggins is a 4 month-old puppy, 10 lbs, and a total sweetheart. He’s a very calm/not hyper puppy ….but we are sure that his personality will start coming out now that he’s feeling better😜. We love him already and can’t wait to get to know him more. #maedaygoggins

Welcome to Maeday, Pepino! We saved this guy from the shelter & love him already! Pepino is about 5-6 years old, a teeny tiny 6 lbs, and has legs that make him look like he’s constantly doing ballet🩰🤸🏻. We think he might be a Pomsky. 

He’s a total sweetheart, is still decompressing, and is a bit skittish/scared about life ….but he’s already coming out of his shell and giving his foster mom lots of cuddles as he settles in! We can’t wait to get to know him more - help us welcome him to the Maeday pack!🐾  #maedaypepino

Meet Keera! This gal was found on the street a few weeks ago by former adopters of ours — they called & texted Keera’s owner several times, left messages, and then let us know that it seems like no one is looking for her and she was purposely dumped. Weeks later, Keera is better off without them - she was covered in fleas and so dirty when she was found, so who knows how long she was on her own. But the good life starts now, sweet girl! 

Keera is 6 years old, 25 lbs, and half French Bulldog/half Boston Terrier. She is sweet as can be, good with other dogs, potty trained, and pretty perfect! One man’s garbage is another’s treasure because she’s a real winner in our book. She was just spayed and is recovering nicely. We can’t wait to learn more about her & find her a loving forever home that will never let her go! #maedaykeera

We would like to introduce you to Hector! 

This 10 to 15-year-old boy came is only 7 lbs and came to us from the shelter after he found himself there with a skin allergy, alopecia, and bad ear infection. His tongue hangs out in the perfect way and we are obsessed with him. 

We have learned that he loves other dogs and wants to play with his Foster’s dog! He’s so sweet, friendly & doesn’t have many teeth left. We love him & you will too! #maedayhector

We’d like to introduce you to Ronnie!!!😍🐾 This 6-year old guy came to us from the West LA shelter - a volunteer we know told us how sweet he was & how the poor guy had been clearly neglected or on his own for a while because he was very dirty and matted when he came in. They groomed him/shaved him down at the shelter & then we swooped in to save him. We promise his gorgeous fluffy hair will grow back in no time and he’ll have the best glow up! 

Ronnie is now doing SO well — potty trained, great on walks, loves all people, knows how to sit/shake, is good with dogs, doesn’t have separation anxiety, and LOVES to cuddle. He’s about 32 lbs — which is a perfect medium size …and we think he is a poodle/terrier mix of some kind. He was clearly in a home before …and we are sad for whatever circumstances landed him at the shelter in the state he was in. But we are happy that Ronnie is now with us at MaeDay — Life can change fast! #maedayronnie

Meet MONA!🩷🐾 This gal came to us from the shelter where she was an owner surrender. We are sad that she lost her family but we already know that she’s a total gem!

Mona is about 10-12 years old, and a tiny 8 lbs. She loves people, is potty trained, good with other dogs, and loves to cuddle. She had a really bad mouth of teeth - which likely comes from neglect & poor nutrition in her previous home. But that’s ok - after her dental surgery, she now only has 8 teeth left and her mouth is sparkly clean & minty fresh! She loves to be around her people so someone that is home a lot would be ideal for her — she is super happy, confident, & sweet …and looking for her perfect forever retirement home! #maedaymona

This is George!!! We we first fell in love with him when he saw him posted on the shelter/volunteer socials and we jumped in to save him! George is 10-12 years old, & 8 lbs. This guy loves everyone including other dogs. He likes to cuddle and will scratch your hand for pets, just like in the video we first saw of him (look at #maedaygeorgedog to see that video)

George was just neutered, got his eyes checked (he has dry eye that will require medication), and is now in tip top shape and ready for adoption! He’s a senior guy that is looking for the perfect home for his golden years — he’s such a loving guy and we can’t wait for him to find it!  #maedaygeorgedog

Meet Bebe!! She’s a 10-year old / 12 lb PERFECT girl who was an owner surrender to the city shelter after her human could no longer safely care for her. We are thrilled to have this pup in Maeday and she is already making friends with everyone she meets! 

Bebe gets along with dogs, is fixed, healthy, potty trained, great on leash, and loves to sleep next to you and cuddle! She loves to be with her person but doesn’t have any separation anxiety when she’s left. We can’t wait to get to know this girl better but so far she is a winner! #maedaybebe

Meet Princeton! We saved Princeton from the shelter hours before he was set to be euthanized. He was not doing well in the shelter environment and was having lots of stomach issues, so he needed to get out of there & seen by a vet asap.

Princeton is about 7-8 years old, 11 lbs, and is feeling much better now! He was a volunteer favorite at the shelter - always wanting kisses and cuddles. He is doing well with his potty training, loves to sit on your lap, and gets along great other dogs!  #maedayprinceton 

Meet Theo! Theo was found in an abusive situation with his past owner. A good samaritan intervened & thankfully took him away from this awful situation (the owner happily gave him up) — he was emaciated, caked in his own 💩, and scared. But now he’s cleaned up, vaccinated, neutered, fed, happy, & ready to find a forever home!

Theo is 2 years old, 20 lbs, and a poodle/doodle of some kind. He’s very sweet, friendly with other dogs, and loves toys. Theo is such a sweet soul and is adjusting well! #maedaytheo 

Meet Tobie! 

When the volunteers at Harbor shelter in San Pedro sent us this picture and said “this 11 year old boy is an owner surrender after his owner was diagnosed with Alzheimers, can you take him?” We answered with a giant YES! 

His name is Tobie and he is relaxed, easy on leash, was great for his bath and is great with other dogs. He has a chronic dry eye which will require eye drops, but this little senior is move in ready!  #maedaytobie 

Meet Leam! 

This gentleman is Leam and he is a 12 year old fixed boy who sadly lost his home after his human was elderly and could no longer care for him properly. He is litter trained, great with other cats and loves a lap. Give this guy the best senior years of his life and adopt him. #maedayleam 

Meet Pirate! Pirate is about 6-8 years old, 12 lbs, good with other dogs, and sweet as can be! He’s recovering from his neuter and loves cuddling & getting belly rubs from his foster mom. He was surrendered to the shelter after his owner was diagnosed with Alzheimers and the family sadly couldn’t care for him properly. #maedaypirate 

Meet Flynn! He’s a very handsome 3ish year old, 14 lb little guy who was so happy to be busted out of the shelter! He’s sweet, happy, good with human & dogs …and seems like a perfect terrier/poodle mix combo. 

Flynn is also very energetic and playful - he loves playing with the other dog in his foster home, going for Zoomies around the yard, and chasing squirrels on his walks. He’s also a cuddly perfect lap dog too! #maedayflynn

Meet Cookie! This granny was an owner surrendered to the shelter with two other dogs, and her human was in tears. We don’t know the circumstances, but we do know that she was loved. She is potty trained, loves other dogs, has a lot of energy for a senior lady and is game for adventures. She gets attached to a human pretty quickly and wants to be your best friend. She is around 10-12 years old and is about 10lbs. #maedaycookie

Meet Jacob! This 5ish year old 16lb long legged boy came to us from the shelter after being on the euthanasia list for being sick. It turns out he was just nervous and wasn’t eating and losing wait from stress. He is now eating, gaining weight and is healthy according to our vet! He is potty trained, cuddly, loves all people and likes other dogs. #maedayjacob

Meet Rudolph (aka Rudy)! He’s a 5 year old miniature pinscher. Rudy weighs 16 pounds, is great with other dogs and is a very loyal pup! He loves to cuddle up with his person, is a great listener, whip smart and eager to please. Rudy was found on the streets and was surrendered to the shelter prior to finding his way to Maeday. He is very grateful to have a safe and cozy place to land while he awaits his forever home. #maedayrudolph

Meet Ash! This 60lb beauty is around 1.5 years old and is the smartest, floppiest and most gentle girl. She loves other dogs, small or large, is great on leash, knows sit, is potty trained, and great with all humans. We saved her from the shelter and can’t wait to find her perfect forever home. She is going to make someone’s home complete. #maedayash

Meet Lacy! Lacy is a 7yo., 87lb. Great Pyrenese or Swiss Shepherd mix. Lacy was surrendered to the shelter and she patiently waited for 6 months until we were able to bust her out of the shelter. She's potty trained and will tell you when she needs to go out. She is great with every dog she has met. She is very calm and friendly!
